Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior DevSecOps (DSO) Systems Engineer to work with a multi-cloud configuration team to integrate security throughout the stages of cloud adoption. This is an important customer mission to adapt the development of a system using DevSecOps processes and ideas to meet the functionality and cybersecurity needs of the future. The main requirement is a candidate that can understand the needs of configuration and development efforts and can apply creative thinking to assist the DevSecOps team with process automation and a willingness to adapt to whatever the customer needs. The environment can be deeply technical and rapidly changing, so flexibility is paramount. The program is structured utilizing DevSecOps and Agile methodologies. As a member of a multi-cloud configuration team, the selected individual will be required to be part of an agile scrum team and be knowledgeable in numerous development tools and technologies. We are glad to consider engineers that have the attitude to solve complex problems without static solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with team members, end users, clients, and stakeholders with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Perform evaluation of current systems and the identification of potential improvements regarding increases in efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitors the performance of systems
  • Write and maintain documentation of system architecture, installation, operations, and maintenance procedures and provide status reports based on customer and program requirements
  • Working with the DevSecOps Team to maintain Assessment & Authorization accreditation with the support of an ISSE
  • Provide support to the DevSecOps Team lead and Program Manager as needed for all DSO related matters

Here's what you need:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology consulting and a Bachelors degree
  • 2+ years of experience supporting the Cloud environments to include, delivering, securing and managing container-based applications and supporting the Cloud   
  • Extensive knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD and Enterprise CI/CD tools (GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, etc)      
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
  • Knowledge of deploying and monitoring tools and services in AWS
  • Knowledge of serverless environment
  • Knowledge of building, maintaining, and troubleshooting infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/Terraform/Ansible)
  • Experience with the Atlassian tools in agile environments
  • Knowledge of containers and their orchestration tools (docker compose/Swarm/Kubernetes)
  • Experience driving adoption of shift-level approach, policy-as-code, security-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, and zero trust compliance

Bonus points if you have:

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate/Professional
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
  • Experience with AWS, Azure and/or Google cloud platforms

Security Clearance:

  • An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
