SUMMARY OF JOB:

The Process Analyst is responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes across the bank to increase efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and enhance the customer and employee experience. This role works closely with cross-functional teams—including Operations, Compliance, Retail Banking, and Technology—to identify process gaps, streamline workflows, and support strategic initiatives.


ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITES:

  1. Conduct end-to-end process reviews to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and risks in banking operations, lending, retail, and support functions.
  2. Document current state workflows using process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other analysis tools.
  3. Partner with business units to design improved future state processes that align with regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and customer service goals.
  4. Develop and maintain process documentation libraries and ensure version control for all process-related materials.
  5. Support the implementation of automation, digital banking enhancements, and technology integrations by defining business requirements and validating solutions.
  6. Measure process performance using KPIs and metrics; provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.
  7. Assist in change management, training, and communication to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  8. Monitor regulatory and compliance changes to ensure process documentation remains accurate and aligned with banking standards.
  9. Collaborate with internal audit and risk management teams to strengthen internal controls and reduce operational risks.
  10. Maintain current knowledge and follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.

  12. Work closely with third-party solution providers that provide technology or other services used by the operational team.

Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Work Experience: 2–5 years of experience in process analysis, business analysis, or operations within banking or financial services

Supervisory Experience: n/a

Licenses/Accreditations: n/a

Computer Skills: Proficiency in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and Microsoft Office Suite

Other Requirements: Strong understanding of banking operations, compliance requirements, and financial products

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

The applicant who is selected for this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Targeted hiring range based on experience: $88,000 - $125,000 yearly. This range is an estimate based on potential employee qualifications and other considerations permitted by law under the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules.
  • Bonus Eligibility: Annual bonus based on Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at the Company Discretion.
