The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Enterprise Application Administrator to join our Technology Services team. The Enterprise Applications Administrator will work closely with our Applications Analyst in supporting the Aeroflow suite of applications with a primary focus on Jira and other cloud based applications. This role will own, manage, and continuously improve our Jira Platform and ensure that Jira is configured, maintained, and optimized to support our business processes, streamline workflows, and deliver an excellent user experience across teams. The ideal candidate is equal parts technical expert, process consultant, and communicator—someone who understands how Jira operates at its core, can align it with organizational goals, and can translate business needs into effective, scalable solutions.
Your Primary Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Jira Administrator/Enterprise Applications Administrator, this person will:
- Serves as the primary administrator managing the overall system infrastructure for Jira (and related Atlassian tools
- Configure, maintain, and upgrade Jira projects, workflows, custom fields, permissions, and notification schemes.
- Ensure data integrity, accurate pathways, and process alignment across the platform.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage integrations with other tools
- Partner with business units to understand workflows, pain points, and reporting needs.
- Design and implement Jira configurations that reflect and improve business processes to include dashboards and reports as desired to help achieve understanding in
- Establish governance standards for consistent use of JIRA across the organization.
- Develop and document best practices, naming conventions, and usage guidelines.
- Provide training, documentation, and guidance to Jira users at all levels.
- Manage user onboarding, permissions, and access requests.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users to ensure solutions are user-friendly and effective.
- Lead JIRA-related projects, from requirements gathering to implementation and adoption.
- Ensure change management processes are followed to maintain system stability
- Ability to support other cloud-based applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Zoom Enterprise, Jamf and Workato as a member of a team of application administrators.

Skills for Success
- Advanced-level ability to configure projects, workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and automation.
- Skilled at mapping business processes and designing efficient, scalable workflows.
- Strong ability to partner with technical and non-technical teams, translating needs into effective solutions.
- Quick to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and manage platform changes with minimal disruption.
- Experience administering Okta, JAMF, Google Workspace Enterprise, Zoom Enterprise, and/or other key SaaS platforms
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a JIRA Administrator in a mid-to-large organization (~500–2,000 employees).
- Strong knowledge of JIRA Core, JIRA Software, and related Atlassian tools (Confluence, Service Management).
- Proven track record of designing and implementing JIRA workflows that align with complex business processes.
- Experience managing permissions, automation rules, schemes, and integrations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to map processes and optimize for efficiency.
- Exposure to Okta, JAMF, Google Workspace Enterprise, Zoom Enterprise, or key SaaS platforms.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver multiple initiatives.
You might also have
- Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator or related certification.
- Experience with API integrations and scripting (e.g., Groovy,ScriptRunner).
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
