We are currently seeking a full-time Asset Support Technician to join our corporate team in Arlington Heights, IL. As an Asset Support Technician you will be responsible for supporting daily operations of receiving, inspecting, testing and replenishment of consumables and spare parts for a vast array of equipment for our demo, loaner, calibration and specialty equipment programs.

 

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Location: e3 HQ -3333 N Kennicott Ave, Arlington Heights, IL 60004-1429 
    • Full-time on-site
  • Compensation: $23.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with operations and service teams to maintain the rotating equipment and calibration kit pools.
  • Perform detailed check-in and operations procedures on a variety of audiology equipment and calibration kits.
  • Assist with minor calibrations.
  • Create, maintain and update detailed check lists for equipment and consumables necessary for each unit.
  • Replenish equipment consumables and spare parts when needed and work with appropriate parties to identify and retrieve missing equipment parts.
  • Document all records in the asset management system.
  • Keep product knowledge current, attending all required training.
  • Maintain necessary software and equipment upgrades.
  • Interface with e3 Diagnostics internal and external customers as needed or directed on continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and training within the department. Ensure that the work areas are kept clean and safe. Additionally, perform housekeeping duties and maintain designated aisles, WIP, and storage areas.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of related experience required.
  • Warehouse or distribution experience a plus.
  • Software & Computers: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Experience with Database Management Systems.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other Quality Management systems.

Travel:

  • Up to 10% travel may be required depending on the office needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. 
  • Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
