We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and resolve client issues related to claims, billing, and eligibility with accuracy and professionalism
  • Partner with Account Managers to deliver the Alera Group service model, including

    • Requesting and downloading renewals, saving in Brokerage Builder

    • Coordinating benefit marketing with medical and ancillary carriers

    • Updating client and plan information in Brokerage Builder by gathering policies, billing statements, and other carrier documents

    • Coordinating completion of compliance documents (plan documents, Section 125, etc.)

  • Document all client activities and updates in Brokerage Builder to maintain accurate records

  • Adhere strictly to established procedures, ensuring high-quality, error-free deliverables through careful review and attention to detail

  • Work independently at a steady, consistent pace, while contributing to a supportive and professional team environment

  • Interact with clients in a professional, formal manner with a focus on accuracy, service, and task completion

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Health and Life License
  • Knowledge of group product lines, or the ability to obtain required knowledge within 3 to 6 months of accepting position
  • Client service experience, preferably in the area of employee benefits
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must be able to work independently and within a team environment
Additional Information:

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.
