Position Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will provide strategic and tactical HR support to associates and leaders within the Middleton Plant and functions of IT, Finance, Strategy & Innovation, and Marketing. This role is ideal for a self-driven HR professional with strong generalist experience and a passion for employee relations. The HR Business Partner will be instrumental in partnering with leaders to cultivate a positive and engaging employee experience that enhances retention, fosters development, and promotes the behaviors essential to a high performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership
- Partner with functional leaders to align HR strategies with business goals
- Drive HR strategic initiatives and standardization of corporate programs
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Champion a Best Experience (BEx) culture of inclusion, respect, and “doing the right thing always”
- Act as a feedback conduit between associates and leadership, ensuring employee voices are heard and acted upon
- Monitor engagement metrics and collaborate with leaders to address areas of opportunity
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent resolution
- Coach leaders on handling sensitive employee issues and performance challenges
- Partner with leaders through performance management process and be detail oriented in documentation
HR Operations
- Lead day-to-day HR activities including onboarding, policy interpretation, and compliance
- Work collaboratively with HRIS, payroll and benefits teams
- Manage associate information requests promptly and accurately
Talent Development
- Engage with leaders and associates to support SMART goal setting, annual performance reviews, and Talent Review planning
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth by leveraging internal development programs and actively guiding associates to the resources available to support their success.
Requirements:
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate setting
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proven expertise in employee relations and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
