About this Role

We are seeking an IT Application Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pune. This role offers the opportunity to work in a multicultural environment, contributing to the delivery and enhancement of IT services across the organisation. The individual will be instrumental in driving automation, service improvement, and operational excellence, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure high availability and performance of business-critical applications.

What you will do

  • Deliver and enhance IT services through automation and continual service improvement.
  • Collaborate on technical solution designs aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Resolve escalated and complex customer issues, ensuring minimal outage and root cause identification.
  • Ensure high availability, quality, and performance of Margin Assurance Services.
  • Restore applications to normal service in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet SLAs and improve KPIs.
  • Support the definition and improvement of IT Service Operations processes.
  • Lead end-to-end project management and cross-functional team coordination.
  • Ensure smooth product releases and a defect-free customer experience.
  • Provide support and resolution for production environment issues.

Who you are

  • 1–3 years of overall experience, with 1–2 years in a relevant IT operations role.
  • Proficient in managing multi-vendor setups across onshore, offshore, and nearshore models.
  • Skilled in programming/scripting (Python, Bash), and experienced with Linux/UNIX OS.
  • Knowledgeable in event-driven systems, orchestration, schema mapping, and PL/SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities in complex environments.
  • Holds a university degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Experienced with PL/SQL, Java, Python, Bash/KSH, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Composer.
  • Proactive, self-organised, and flexible to support a 24/7 operational environment.
