Traffic School Officer

  • Classified as a Band 3
  • $35.42 +25% casual loading + 12% superannuation 

The Opportunity

We are looking for an energetic and friendly individual to manage Public Sessions and Education Sessions run at the Traffic School including the accountability for safety of children and carers whilst ensuring the conditions of the facilities and equipment are safe to use.

Responsibilities

  • Taking EFTPOS payments and ensuring patrons have signed into the session 
  • Assisting children in finding bikes and helmets to suit 
  • Generally overseeing the session i.e. ensuring that children are adequately supervised by parents, are riding safely and wearing appropriate safety gears, e.g. helmets, footwear etc. 
  • Making sure that the grounds are kept clean and tidy and reporting any maintenance issues 
  • Some manual handling, such as moving and lifting bikes.
