At dsm-firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health (ANH), we’re preparing for something big: the carve-out of ANH towards a new ownership structure. Ownership details are still being finalized, but one thing’s clear — this is a rare chance to help shape a future-ready business from the inside out.

 

The Senior Manager Finance, Indirect Procurement ANHnewco will co-steer, challenge and control the economic and financial performance of ANHnewco Indirect Procurement activities and provide insights to the Procurement leadership team on all strategic and operational matters.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Drive the performance review process for Indirect Procurement, including planning, analysis, savings initiatives validation, monthly results
  • Contribute to the performance of the Indirect Procurement Team
  • Contribute to the pre-contract negotiations with key suppliers
  • Provide transparency on savings realization and their reinvestments in the business
  • Actively find opportunities for simplification and optimization
  • Manage the total Procurement Overhead costs

You bring

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrates exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Change Leadership & Integrity: Proven ability to lead change by challenging assumptions and identifying necessary adjustments, while maintaining a high level of integrity
  • Educational & Professional Background: Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Economics, with over 10 years of experience in Controlling, Reporting, or FP&A in complex organizations
  • Financial & Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Finance, Accounting, and Accounts Payable processes; product costing knowledge is a plus
  • Systems & Tools Proficiency: Extensive experience with ERP systems (SAP R/3), Microsoft Office, and BI tools, supporting data-driven decision-making
  • Analytical Thinking & Work Ethic: Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, results-driven mindset; able to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
