What does a Bus Driver do?

As a Bus Driver with The Arc Lexington, you will provide safe and reliable transportation for the people we support to and from the various programs they attend throughout Schoharie and Fulton Counties. Every day, you'll play an important role in ensuring that individuals can participate in programs, activities, and community life. Your job is not only to get them where they need to go, but to do so with patience, respect, and professionalism.

Bus Drivers are often the first and last friendly faces that individuals see each day. By transporting them safely and on time, you help set the tone for a positive experience and a successful day. This is truly work with purpose.

Qualifications we're looking for:

• A valid NYS Driver's License with at least 2 years of experience.
• A valid NYS Class B Commercial Driver's License with Passenger endorsements.
• A High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required
• Strong commitment to safety and dependability, with a caring and respectful approach to the people we support
