Job Description:
The Quality Control Inspector will inspect and test products against predetermined specifications to determine if requirements are being met. They will work in a team environment or independently and are responsible for helping and assisting the quality and reliability of our products.
This is an on-site position based in Long Beach, CA and requires on-site presence five days a week. This is a full-time, overnight role with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 02:30 PM or 7:00 AM to -3:30 PM or 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM.
What you’ll do:
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform daily inspection on incoming material.
Work in team settings to provide timely results.
Use tools such as caliper and micrometers to inspect product.
Draft inspection reports as may be necessary.
Work with calibrations, nonconforming product, and quality related programs.
Additional duties as assigned by Manager.
Able to lift 50 pounds as needed.
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education:
Required:
Experience in a QC role with a background in manufacturing, preferably in the medical device industry.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read blueprints/drawings with strong attention to details.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
The ability to articulate concise reports.
Desired:
