WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE – JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM!

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Conklin Metal Industries is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team at our New Orleans Branch. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse. Forklift experience is required, but this is not a forklift-only position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accurately receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments to ensure quality and completeness.
• Process and organize inventory in the warehouse for easy access and efficient operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment.
• Properly pull, stage, pack, and load outgoing deliveries to prevent damage in transit.
• Secure truck loads according to DOT and Conklin Metal standards for safe transportation.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Monitor and report any inventory discrepancies or safety concerns to management.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet daily warehouse demands.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be reliable with a strong work ethic and consistent attendance.
• Forklift experience is required (certification preferred).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures based on the weather.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (must be available for overtime as needed).
