Location: Centennial, CO - On-site position
Upstate is a leader in the precious metals industry, serving active dealer accounts across the United
States, from the largest retailers to the smallest local shops.
We're looking for a sharp, experienced paralegal to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to apply

Responsibilities: Reporting to our Corporate Counsel, the Paralegal will be responsible for (but not
limited to):
Preparing customer and vendor agreements.
Completing questionnaires and forms from vendors.
Drafting contract templates.
Maintaining the corporate contract database.
Assisting with litigation matters, such as consolidating information and drafting responses to
respond to discovery requests.
Providing legal support and guidance to business partners to ensure contract terms meet
business needs within acceptable risk tolerance thresholds.
Identifying contractual risks and providing advice to internal business partners.
Reviewing customer documents for completeness and accuracy.
Performing research and analysis on topics relevant to Upstate’s business.
Ensuring the accuracy of agreements, addendums and amendments.
Assisting with other issues as identified, including corporate and compliance filings.
Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and handling issues with the highest level of
integrity.
Additional duties assigned by management, as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
Familiarity with legal concepts such as limitation of liability, indemnification, and confidentiality
Detail oriented
Critical thinking
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Must have the ability and desire to learn new programs and systems.
