Description
- Create and develop market to generate and grow technology sales in a given geography or industry market segments including Marine, Waste, Sand & Gravel, Quarry, Waste/Landfill, Rental, etc. Also, grow partnerships with other OEMs to help customers control their jobsite.
- Provide sales support for all Machine Grade Control, Survey, and Software technology solutions, qualifying leads, presenting options, and closing the sale.
- Extreme ownership as it relates to owning a positive customer experience when working with SITECH and help maximize their technology investment.
- Effectively quarterback scenarios with team members and delegating to assist customer uptime, training, install, support, repair, etc.
- Market and sell technology products & solutions, demonstrating product features and providing detailed information on GPS, laser reference, drones, other robotic systems functions and performance. Answer questions and explain product benefits to customer.
- Expand the sales of survey solutions including rover and base station equipment to customers within the construction industry
- Work with target industry associations to grow solution awareness, contact leads, etc.
- Achieve customer sales growth & company profitability targets
- Represent manufacturer and open to piloting new technologies or programs where it makes sense to test, grow, evolve, and provide constructive feedback back to manufacturer partners to help improve
- Conduct product training for customers both in the classroom and in the field; developing training materials and tracking any subsequent training. Meet training revenue goals and objectives as identified.
- Perform demonstrations of the latest in Trimble GPS survey control equipment as well as machine control. Demos and trains with operators on one to one basis as needed.
- Remain on cutting edge of new product development in GPS products for the earthmoving industry including site preparation, business and site management, office management, fleet tracking and data management software(s).
- Associates Degree in Construction or Surveying Technology or 3-5 years or more of experience in the field of construction surveying/GPS Technology.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or Construction Technology related field
- 5-7 years or more of experience in the field of construction surveying/GPS Technology
- Travel required
