Description
Benchmark is a national leader in supporting individuals with disabilities and behavioral health challenges. Our South Bend, IN office is seeking a positive, creative and engaging person to work as an Administrative Assistant. Successful applicants will attend paid training to obtain required certifications. This position is Monday thru Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
- Open and close the South Bend office.
 - Handle and direct all mail, incoming calls, faxes, and visitors.
 - Maintain, schedule reservations, set up trainings for, clean, and organize common workspaces, including front areas of Day Service, Training Center, and meeting rooms.
 - Maintain office equipment and service contracts, including scheduling vendors for repairs and services, completing inventory and ordering supplies.
 - File all client related information according to compliance standards.
 - Maintain staff training lists for all classes, sign up staff, provide reminder calls and messages.
 - Take attendance at trainings, report missing students to HR and Managers.
 - Share training class schedules with outside provider agencies.
 - Travel to other locations (often Lima office) to provide support when needed
 
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to interact with staff, individuals served, and the public in a positive manner.
 - Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
 - Ability to multi-task and handle detail.
 - Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner,
 
Qualifications:
- Prior office administration or secretarial experience preferred
 - High School Diploma or Equivalency
