We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, charismatic individual to join our team as a Greeter in our Laurel, DE showroom.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
- Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
- Maintains telecommunication by following manufacturer's instructions for operators console.
- Maintains the Smart System Up Board to ensure all sales consultants are correctly assigned to visitors/shoppers who enter the showroom.
- Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Performs operator duties by answering inbound calls and directing them to the proper employee or department.
- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Closes showrooms with team assistance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Telephone skills, and verbal communication.
- Microsoft Office skills, and Smart System knowledge.
- Listening, professionalism, and Customer focus.
- Organization, informing others, and handles pressure.
- Phone skills, and supply management.
Light - Exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work.
Definitions:
Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time
Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time
Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time
