The Logistics and Property Specialist duties include Property Management support and Logistics support. As directed, may assume other duties and responsibilities in the absence of team members. Must maintain and observe proper safety procedures and wear steel-toed safety shoes and a uniform shirt during working hours.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs monthly physical inventory of equipment for the Arizona locations
  • Performs off-site physical inventory trips for remote centers as directed
  • Manage the receipt of incoming tag-required materials, documentation of receipt, tag application, and photograph tagged items.
  • Assists with the disposition of and transfers property in accordance with all applicable Terms & Conditions.
  • Maintain Property Inventory database, including tagging of all reportable property, and perform regular physical audits of tracked property.
  • Identify and process all tracked property additions, disposals and transfers, in coordination with AURA Property Officer.
  • Organize and perform property disposals.
  • Assist with arrangements of domestic shipments.
  • Provides basic mailing support, including retrieval and delivery of mail to post offices
  • Utilizes company directories to sort, distribute, and process mail
  • Receives inbound shipments, inspects, and logs items
  • Responsible for Safety within area of responsibility, and for reporting any unsafe condition to the appropriate Risk Management office.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid State driver’s license
  • Ability to successfully complete Hazardous Materials courses, as assigned
  • Three years’ experience in logistics or administration at the professional level.
  • Ability to speak and write fluently in English, and to articulate specific points of view to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to perform and accomplish detailed assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Must be imaginative, resourceful, and patient; have sound judgment; and be able to make independent decisions.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), Jira, Deltek, Costpoint
  • Possession of written and verbal communication skills, as well as data entry with basic math skills
  • One to two years’ experience in shipping and receiving or inventory control activities is required
  • Knowledgeable of warehouse machinery and basic forklift operation, eligible to become OSHA certified within six months of hire
  • Familiarity with SDS sheets and ability to successfully complete Hazardous Materials awareness training within six months of hire

  • Must possess - sufficient mobility, strength, or dexterity in both arms and hands and both legs to a) reach upward, sideways, downward to work with paper files; b) sufficient mobility and dexterity to utilize computer systems, fax machines, copiers, and other office machines.
  • Must possess – 1) ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, safety guides, and other written materials necessary to perform job; 2) sufficient visual capacity to
  • perform the applicable functions without assistance of visual aids other than eye contacts or eye glasses; 3) sufficient spoken aural capacity to hear and understand instructions, warning bells, fire alarms, or shouted instructions without assistance of auditory aids other than a hearing aid; and 4) ability to impart information orally so that others understand and can respond appropriately.
  • Some travel may be necessary in the United States.

Salary Range:

$38,800 - $43,400. The final salary will depend on skills, qualifications and experience.
