Major Goals and Responsibilities:

Support Prosource customers on the customer’s site through the execution of operator duties according to the facilities management agreement between Prosource and the customer. Responsible for supporting all aspects of a digital printing operation including the printing needs of the department and or the employees. Associates would need the knowledge to price out print jobs for the customer and support workflow processes as well as web-based order placement.

Essential Activities and Responsibilities:

Printing, Copying, Finishing of Jobs (60%)

  • Working in the print shop with the operation of digital printing, copying, folding, and other methods to produce all requested school documentation, using reproduction and offline equipment in the Print Shop. Fulfilling job requests in a timely manner and based upon the job tickets created.

Job Order Documentation and Planning (20%)

  • Create, update, and complete accurate job tickets to ensure delivery of completed sets/jobs based upon requestor criteria. 
  • Ensure accurate job costing for the allocation of appropriate charges using the customer ticketing and job costing system. This activity requires the understanding of the web-based ordering and chargeback system. 
  • Maintain an accurate Job Log to ensure jobs are planned to meet requestor requirements.

Equipment Use and Maintenance (5%)

  • Maintain knowledge of all systems in operation within the Print Shop.
  • Understand and follow published maintenance schedules. 
  • Understand and use devices within the safety recommendations of the customer and the device manufacturers. 
  • Know where and how to reach support providers when service is required and report any device or operating deficiencies to the Prosource team manager immediately.

Shipping, Receiving and Delivery (10%)

  • Support the customer through the timely receipt and delivery of jobs and any materials received at the associated customer receiving dock as specified in the Facilities Management Agreement.

Parts and Supply Inventory (5%)

  • Maintain sufficient inventory of supply items to meet the demands of the incoming jobs within the budget established for Print Shop operations.

Prerequisites (i.e. education, experience):

  • High School education with some college level coursework is desired
  • 1 year of customer service experience desired
  • Computer proficiency, including the use of MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to drive
  • Lift up to 50 pounds, and use a hand cart

Compensation Methods:

  • Base salary and bonus plan performance compensation.
