Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for on-time and accurate shipping and delivery, ensuring that all items on Sales Orders are packaged and staged for order fulfillment.
- Record received inventory into the MRP system by ensuring items that are received match the Purchase Order and Packing Slip documentation.
- Loading and unloading trucks, wrapping products, packing, labeling, as well as operating a forklift when necessary.
- Responsible for product quality: reporting non-compliant parts and product to the appropriate managers.
- Pick parts to request and transact all inventory movements in ERP.
- Coordinate inventory workflows, maintain work order records, and perform cycle counts.
- Follow standard operating procedures and current quality specifications by having Working knowledge of standards and regulations as outlined in the QMS documentation and structure
- Operate within standard operating procedures and abide by all safety and security rules set forth by the company and regulatory agencies.
- Active participant in continuous improvement projects pertaining to but not limited to the Shipping and Receiving areas.
- Utilize IT tools provided to ensure work is organized to prevent errors and omissions as well as efficient execution of duties
- Communicate professionally (written and oral); adhere to company policies and employee handbook.
- Maintain clean, hazard-free work area and regular attendance
- Perform all other duties assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to prioritize shipments and manage workflows efficiently
- Shipping and receiving experience preferred.
- Certified to operate a forklift.
- Basic Mathematical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- MRP experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language.
- Team collaboration across departments
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine effective solutions.
- Dependable and accountable, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Professional written and oral communications.
