Position Summary 

At Food Bank For New York City, we believe in the power of people and partnerships to end hunger. Every day, 1 in 5 of our neighbors faces food insecurity—and we’re building a movement to change that. The Manager, Corporate Engagement will play a pivotal role in connecting New York’s corporate community with meaningful ways to serve, give, and stand alongside us in this fight. 

This is more than a fundraising or project management role—it’s about inspiring organizations to transform compassion into action. By creating unforgettable volunteer experiences, innovative cause-marketing campaigns, and powerful service events, you will help companies see their people, their brands, and their resources as part of the solution to hunger. 

You’ll work at the heart of collaboration—partnering with colleagues across Volunteer Engagement, Marketing & Communications, and Operations—to bring to life opportunities that advance Food Bank’s mission while meeting corporate goals for purpose and impact. From Fortune 500 companies to neighborhood businesses, your work will spark connections that feed both bodies and spirits. 

Key Responsibilities 

Inspire & Secure Partnerships 

  • Manage a portfolio of new and existing partners. Cultivate and steward corporate relationships that support Food Bank’s fundraising goals through employee engagement, sponsorship, volunteering, and creative cause-marketing campaigns. 

Design Transformational Experiences 

  • Lead the planning and execution of customized service events and corporate volunteer projects—sometimes with up to 500 participants—ensuring every experience is impactful, seamless, and mission-driven. 
  • Bring Stories to Life 
  • Develop impact and post event reports, social content, and marketing assets that showcase the power of partnership, celebrate impact, and keep companies engaged beyond a single event. 

Lead with Excellence 

  • Oversee logistics, agreements, budgets, and reporting to ensure corporate engagement programs are delivered with precision and accountability. 
  • Strengthen Our Movement 
  • Work across departments to expand Food Bank’s citywide menu of engagement opportunities, empowering more New Yorkers to join our mission to empower every New Yorker to achieve food security for good. 
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; database/CRM experience (Salesforce/NXT a plus) 
  • Experience in corporate partnerships, fundraising, and volunteer engagement 
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Excellent communicator—equally skilled in public speaking, writing, and one-on-one relationship building 
  • Passion for social impact and knowledge of poverty and food insecurity issues preferred 
  • A team player with a reputation for collaboration, creativity, and professionalism 
  • Available for occasional evenings and weekends
