The Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Warehouse Lead to lead day-to-day operations in our plant’s maintenance storeroom. This role keeps our maintenance teams running smoothly by ensuring materials, tools, and PPE are received, stored, and delivered accurately and on time.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee receiving, storage, and issuing of maintenance materials in SAP.
- Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Manage repair parts shipping, vendor follow-up, and tracking.
- Support maintenance planners by pulling and kitting parts for scheduled work.
- Perform weekly cycle counts and annual inventory checks.
- Distribute PPE and manage warehouse tool sign-outs.
- Operate a forklift to unload materials when needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Warehouse or inventory management experience (industrial/chemical preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- SAP or ERP experience a plus.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
This role works in a non-conditioned storeroom (with a conditioned office) and is a great fit for someone who enjoys a dynamic, team-focused environment.
The Maintenance Warehouse Lead reports to the Maintenance Manager and facilitates the efficient operation of the Maintenance Warehouse.. You will be an active participant in creating, cultivating, and embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement to further the SI Group Brand promise and SI Operational Excellence. You will also be responsible for participating in developmental activities designed to stimulate individual and organizational growth.
How You Will Make an Impact:- Organize and maintain accurate records to comply with departmental budgetary and cost tracking requirements.
- Maintain document management systems as assigned.
- Retrieve information as requested from records, email, minutes, and other related documents; prepare written summaries of data
- Perform clerical tasks in closing out projects, place project files in their proper electronic locations in SharePoint and applicable systems items.
- Provide logistical and support activities for team and site functions when called upon
- Support special improvement projects for plant facilities.
- Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions for their representative department or functional area
- Maintain a climate of good and safe working conditions through strict observance of plant safety rules, good housekeeping and observance of safety awareness programs per SI Group established guidelines
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associates Degree or related field beneficial
- Experience in a project environment a plus
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) to support department
