About the Role:
Aquacare Physical Therapy & Fitness Forum is looking for a motivated and compassionate Exercise Specialist to join our dynamic clinical team! In this hands-on role, you’ll assist patients in completing individualized exercise programs under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. You’ll play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, function, and confidence through safe and effective therapeutic movement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and assist patients with their prescribed exercise program, under the direction of a physical therapist. 
- Demonstrate exercises safely and clearly to patients. 
- Support daily clinic operations by maintaining a clean and organized treatment environment. 
- Welcome and assist patients with paperwork and outcome measures. 
- Schedule appointments to optimize both patient flow and provider efficiency. 
- Collect copayments and provide administrative support as needed. 
- Provide excellent customer service and redirect clinical questions to appropriate staff when necessary.
- Pitch in where needed to support team success.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of exercise science and foundational fitness principles. 
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
- Familiarity with healthcare/medical office practices and terminology. 
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. 
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office & Google Sheets). 
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for health and wellness. 
Education & Experience:
- Experience working in a physical therapy or healthcare setting preferred. 
- Educational background in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or a related field preferred. 
- CPR certification a plus. 
 Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist with patient mobility as needed. 
- Extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, and kneeling. 
- Occasional desk/computer work.
