The Program Coordinator II - Center of Excellence in Forensic Nursing, under general supervision, works collaboratively with leadership to plan, develop and implement programs.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
- Four years of related experience in program coordination, management, administration, or other related areas. 
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in specialty. 
- Experience working in a University setting. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. 
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications. 
- Verbal and written communication skills. 
- Organizational skills and prioritize activities. 
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. 
Other Requirements and Factors
- This position is security sensitive. 
- This position requires compliance with state and federal laws/codes and Texas A&M University System/TAMU policies, regulations, rules and procedures. 
- All tasks and job responsibilities must be performed safely without injury to self or others in compliance with System and University safety requirements. 
- Work beyond normal business hours and/or work on weekends when needed. 
- This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding which is renewed under the provisions of the grantor of the contract. This position, therefore, is contingent upon continuation of funding of these grants and/or contracts and satisfactory job performance. 
Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Activities
- Plans, implements and evaluates programs. 
- Assists in establishing goals, objectives, policies and procedures. 
- Coordinate continuing education activities and speaker packets. 
- Coordinates scheduling of presenters. 
- Manages day to day project activities. 
- Coordinates scheduling and facilitation of team meetings. 
- Documents meetings via minutes accurately. 
- Organizes in-person trainings to be held throughout the state and online. 
- Oversees the completion of continuing education applications submitted for CE approval. 
- Develops and disseminates meeting minutes. 
- Coordinates and schedules training with stakeholders. 
- Provides verbal and/or written communication to stakeholders and team members. 
- Identifies and provides available resources to patients in their own communities. 
- Compiles data and creates reports. 
- Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of the project. 
- Ensures deliverables are completed by established deadlines. 
- Communicates with project director/PI about project related activities and any issues or concerns that arise. 
- Assists in establishing short and long term goals and strategic planning. 
- Collaborates with others to create new and expanded programs. 
Data/Grants Management
- Coordinates all aspects of the program. 
- Provides support to the team and other project members in collecting and maintaining necessary documentation. 
- Completes documents, forms, or reports required by the grant or the Center. 
- Coordinates and facilitates team meetings and communication. 
- Maintains and/or provides project status/progress to project leads. 
- Submits reports to funders by established deadlines. 
- Manages expenditures to ensure compliance with funders. 
- Ensures spending is within the budget. 
- Holds team members accountable for deliverables.
