About the Role:

Callen-Lorde is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to support in managing grant-related data utilizing the ESHARE and AIRS systems. Additional data entry databases may be added based on new grant procurement, this position is full-time and temporarily remote. The primary focus lies in accurately inputting data, preserving data integrity, monitoring progress towards quality metrics, and providing assistance in grant management activities.

Key Responsibilities:  

As a Data Entry Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately input grant-related data into ESHARE and AIRS systems following established protocols and guidelines by deadline. Data entry may involve manual chart review or input from service forms filled out by direct service staff. Additional databases may be incorporated into the portfolio as necessary.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of entered data to ensure consistency and integrity across all entries, minimizing errors and discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed records of grant-related information, ensuring completeness and accuracy for reporting purposes, adhering to organizational standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to identify and rectify errors or discrepancies in entered data. Utilize Excel trackers to flag lapses in quality of care and overdue services for patients.
  • Collaborate with team members to address data-related issues or concerns, providing updates on progress as needed, fostering effective teamwork and coordination.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time hybrid position.

Qualifications


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Coursework or training in data entry, grant management, or related fields preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience in data entry or related administrative roles, with a focus on accuracy, ability to meet deadlines, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic administrative software including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Ability to create and maintain data tracking systems and monitor progress towards deliverables.
  • Must live within the Tri-State Area
