Job Description:

Quality and Reliability students will be involved in various aspects of the roles at Allison Transmission, Inc.  Key learning and development areas of quality with respect to warranty & issues tools development, structured problem solving techniques, data analysis, and component research, basic product design, and commercial industry customer quality expectations.  Student will work closely with their assigned supervisor and complete a specific quality project during the assignment. 

Qualifications and Experience:

• No experience requirement – current enrollment in a 4-year engineering program with 3.0 GPA or higher
• Strong desire to learn about engineering roles in the automotive industry and ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate well in a business setting and across functional areas
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Proficiency with computer operation, including Microsoft Office tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic engineering concepts corresponding with school year
