Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Senior IT Manager to lead our IT department and ensure the performance, security, and reliability of our technology environment. This role oversees a hybrid infrastructure of on-premise and AWS cloud servers, manages Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenants, and leads a team of IT support professionals.The Senior IT Manager will balance day-to-day operational needs with long-term improvement projects, including compliance initiatives (PCI, NIST, and CMMC), infrastructure modernization, and multi-site IT support. Reporting directly to the CTO, this position plays a critical role in aligning IT with business strategy and ensuring secure, scalable growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT operations and oversee infrastructure, servers, networks, and user support.
• Administer and support on-premise (Windows/Linux) and AWS-hosted servers.
• Manage virtualization platforms, including VMware or XenServer.
• Oversee Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace tenants, including user provisioning and access controls.
• Mentor and manage the IT help desk team, ensuring responsive and high-quality support.
• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, Aruba switches, fiber connectivity, and enterprise networking at all layers.
• Implement and enforce IT security best practices, including endpoint protection, patching, backups, disaster recovery, access control, and video surveillance.
• Drive IT compliance initiatives, including PCI, NIST, and CMMC standards.
• Maintain IT documentation for systems, networks, processes, and assets.
• Manage IT budgeting, vendor relationships, and purchasing.
• Plan and execute IT projects effectively, balancing operational support with long-term strategic goals.
• Run effective daily team standup meetings
• Willing to be on-call for when IT problems arise

Job Qualifications (Required)

• 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 5+ years leading a team.
• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure and cloud computing best practices.
• Extensive experience managing both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments.
• Hands-on experience with VMware or XenServer virtualization.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts across all layers (OSI model).
• Experience designing and supporting multi-site IT infrastructure.
• Demonstrated success in planning and executing IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of IT security and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
• Experience with SIEM & other security related tools
