Position Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides day-to-day guidance and support to front-line and mid-tier managers across the bank. This role focuses on associate relations, performance counseling, and people-management practices, while also contributing to talent development, succession planning, and compensation support. The HRBP partners closely with managers to strengthen leadership capability, promote associate engagement, and ensure HR programs are delivered effectively.
 

This is a *mid-level HR role* designed for an experienced HR professional who enjoys working directly with managers and associates to solve people challenges and improve workplace effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

-    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
-    3–6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or HR generalist role.
-    Solid knowledge of associate relations, performance management, and HR fundamentals.
-    Banking or financial services experience a plus, but not required.
-    Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coach managers effectively.
-    Highly organized, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
-    Comfortable using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential Functions and Primary Duties

Associate Relations & Performance Support
-    Provide guidance to managers on associate relations matters, including performance counseling, corrective actions, and workplace concerns.
-    Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across departments.
-    Support managers in fostering a fair, compliant, and positive work environment.
Manager Coaching & Development
-    Coach managers on effective leadership, communication, and associate development.
-    Partner with HR team members to deliver training sessions for supervisors and front-line leaders.
-    Provide feedback and tools to help managers build stronger teams.
Talent & Succession Support
-    Work with managers to identify talent needs and recommend development opportunities for associates.
-    Support succession planning discussions, particularly for front-line and supervisory roles.
-    Track and report talent development progress to HR leadership.
HR Program Delivery
-    Partner with HR team to implement core processes such as performance reviews, compensation cycles, and engagement surveys.
-    Act as a liaison between associates, managers, and HR operations for benefits, leaves, and other HR services.
-    Provide reporting and insights on workforce trends to support local decision-making.
Organizational Support
-    Assist managers with team structure, staffing, and role alignment.
-    Provide input into workforce planning discussions.
-    Support managers through organizational or departmental changes.
Compensation Guidance
-    Provide input and support to managers on salary adjustments, promotions, and pay-for-performance.
-    Ensure recommendations align with compensation guidelines and internal equity standards.
-    Assist HR leadership during annual compensation planning.
