Job Description:
Summary
The Rental Sales Associate will be responsible for acting as the front line sales agent for the rental of vehicles to the Company's current lease and commercial rental accounts as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs. This requires the Rental Sales Representative to work cross functionally across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management while utilizing excellent customer communication skills.
Essential Functions
Facilitates the rental of vehicles to the Company's current lease and commercial rental accounts, as well as potential commercial rental customers and consumer household needs
Must work cross functionally across Sales, Marketing, Operations and Asset Management while utilizing excellent customer communication skills
Sales and Marketing; Handles sales and sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
Is responsible for executing the business unit's marketing plan
Maintains current accurate data within the company's marketing database
Is responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads
Maintains and expand relationships with existing customer base
Maximizes operational effectiveness by coordinating overall inventory levels to meet customer demand Customer
Drives profitable revenue growth by maintaining and growing customer relationships
Is responsible for overall satisfaction for all internal and external customers
Reconciles all customer concerns, issues, disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationship Communication
Maintains composure when addressing stressful situations
Clearly articulates Ryder's product and service offerings
Additional Responsibilities
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
Strong interpersonal, customer relations and problem solving skills and the proven ability to effectively organize tasks and managetime
PC literacy
Valid driver's license
Comfort with driving large vehicles, including 28' straight trucks and tractors with standard transmission and hydraulic or airbrakes, within congested areas
The willingness to work shifts and weekends when required
Bilingual an asset
Qualifications
HS diploma, required
Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing (asset), preferred
Two (2) years or more in marketing or sales required
