Join Our Team as a Parts and Warehouse Administrator!

 

Are you a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for logistics? We're looking for a Parts and Warehouse Administrator to join our team at the VMI Warehouse in Akyem. In this role, you will be the key to ensuring our operations run smoothly, from managing inventory to providing top-notch customer support. You'll report directly to the Marketing & Customer Solutions Lead.

 

What You'll Do

 

You'll be at the heart of our parts management system. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Inventory Control: Oversee all on-site consignment stock, handling incoming and outgoing parts, and maintaining accurate records in our database.

  • Logistics Management: Lead stock replenishment efforts, analyze consumption history, and manage quotation and order requests to ensure timely delivery. You'll also support the processing of product returns and ensure documentation is accurate.

  • Operational Excellence: Maintain a safe, clean, and secure warehouse, and perform all necessary handling work with a focus on safety.

  • Customer Support: Act as the primary point of contact for all logistics-related customer inquiries, relaying information and providing exceptional assistance.

  • Reporting: Prepare and provide scheduled or requested reports to management.

 

Who We're Looking For

 

The ideal candidate will have a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with the following:

  • Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Purchasing and Supply.
  • Flexibility to hours of operations and desire to be part of the 24 hour on call schedule.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting and knowledge of safe lifting methods.
  • Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
  • Computer literacy, including working skills of MS Office, Excel and Microsoft 
  • Attention to detail.

 

Key skills we're looking for include:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new software.

  • Strong numerical and communication skills.

  • The ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting safely.

  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
