Are you a skilled Machinist / Turner with a passion for precision and plant reliability? Join our team and play a key role in maintaining, repairing, and producing critical components that keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities

Work safely and ensure full compliance with SHEQ standards, policies, and procedures.

Participate in incident investigations and contribute to root cause analysis.

Plan, allocate, and oversee workshop activities, stepping in for the foreman when required.

Manage timekeeping, documentation, purchase requisitions, and liaise with suppliers/customers.

Operate machining equipment (lathe, milling, shaper, boring mill, saws) to manufacture and repair components.

Perform specialized machining, including shafts, bushes, flanges, gearbox parts, slots, and keyways.

Repair and maintain rolls and plant equipment, assisting in troubleshooting breakdowns.

Ensure precision and quality through accurate measurement checks against specifications.
What are we looking for?

Recognised Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter and Turner.
-
Grade 12 with Mathematics & Science or N3 Engineering qualification.
-
5+ years’ machining/turning experience in a heavy engineering environment.
-
Valid driver’s licence.
