The Team:
The Global Transfer Pricing team at S&P Global is responsible for ensuring compliance with transfer pricing regulations and minimizing audit risks for S&P Global. The team operates in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working closely with various corporate functions to establish strong relationships and optimize the company's global tax position. The Impact:
Reporting to the Head of Global Transfer Pricing, this role will be involved in all stages of the transfer pricing life cycle, applying your expertise in global projects to align transfer pricing policies with business and regulatory changes. Your work will contribute to the accuracy of financial reporting, and your expertise will help to identify and mitigate any transfer pricing risks that may arise. Furthermore, you will support transfer pricing controversy (tax audits, APAs, MAPs) in coordination with local/regional tax colleagues.
Your contributions to the transfer pricing function will help to optimize S&P Global’s global tax position, contributing to the overall financial performance of the company. As a result, this role is essential to S&P Global’s long-term success, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's growth and development.

Responsibilities and Impact:
Manage and oversee documentation projects by identifying all critical steps required from inception to completion. This involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including Controllership, Treasury, Finance, Legal, and FP&A teams, to ensure alignment and efficient execution of project objectives.
Lead initiatives to adapt and update transfer pricing policies in response to evolving business changes and regulatory updates. This involves continuous monitoring of business activities and ensuring alignment with the OECD’s transfer pricing guidelines and local transfer pricing regulations.
Prepare advanced financial analyses and models that provide robust support for tax-related decisions. This includes the ability to interpret complex data and present findings that inform strategic tax planning.
Participate in the execution of Advance Pricing Agreements (APAs), audits, and Mutual Agreement Procedures (MAPs). Utilize strong technical skills and collaborate with external experts and internal business and finance colleagues to ensure compliance and favorable outcomes.
Work collaboratively with other members of the transfer pricing team. This includes providing guidance, sharing insights, and fostering a cooperative team environment to achieve common goals.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $102,387 USD to $176,946.75 USD. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What we’re looking for:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
Must have over 5 years of direct experience in transfer pricing, gained at an accounting or consulting firm, or within a large multinational company.
A comprehensive understanding of transfer pricing rules, including OECD guidelines and local transfer pricing regulations.
Exceptional analytical skills with the capacity to both prepare and interpret complex financial analyses and models, integrating these with qualitative tax analysis.
Demonstrate excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure all deliverables are completed on or ahead of schedule. This includes setting realistic timelines, proactively identifying potential obstacles, and implementing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
Maintain accountability for meeting established deadlines by regularly updating stakeholders on progress, seeking advice when needed, and prioritizing tasks effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex transfer pricing concepts clearly and effectively to a diverse audience.
Proficient at managing external service providers, ensuring strict adherence to allocated resources and established deadlines and priorities.
