Principal Financial Group seeks a Senior Business Operations Analyst to bridge business leaders and technical teams, bringing central initiatives to fruition and driving cross-functional projects.
What You’ll Do:
- Mentor and lead: Develop high-performing teams and support growth across your network of collaborators.
- Be a force for change: Drive innovation by finding ways to modernize, simplify, and scale business infrastructure.
- Lead central initiatives: Own large projects from ideation through implementation, including analysis and change management.
- Collaborate with both business leaders and IT to create solutions that align with business priorities—both immediate and long-term.
- Solve real problems: Identify root causes of organizational challenges and build high-impact solutions that improve performance, efficiency, and experience.
- Build what's next: Drive the execution of strategic infrastructure and operational initiatives that enable future-state readiness.
- Impact at all levels: Lead conversations with interdisciplinary groups, frequently exerting influence.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of relevant work experience with demonstrated leadership in projects, working groups, or initiatives.
- Demonstrated success navigating and accomplishing in matrixed environments.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to see both the big picture and the details.
- Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities; capable of working with customers across all levels.
- A track record of leading business analysis and solution delivery on initiatives across business units and systems.
- A passion for questioning the status quo, building better systems and processes, and leading transformative change.
Experience / Skills That Will Help You Stand Out
- Experience working with Income Solutions engagement centers(e.g. Bank, Annuities, Funds) including associated technologies (i.e. Salesforce CRM).
- A consultative approach and a passion for partnering to co-create solutions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a continuous improvement approach.
- Experience guiding organizations through change and delivering measurable impact.
