Since 1969, we’ve been serving Cheyenne and surrounding areas with exceptional workmanship and customer service. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated Excavation Salesperson to join our dedicated team.
As an Excavation Salesperson, you will be responsible for expanding sales by identifying customer needs, recommending tailored solutions, and delivering exceptional service. Your focus will be on building lasting relationships with customers while aiming to exceed sales targets. This position requires a strong understanding of excavation practices as they relate to underground utility work, particularly sewer line installation, repair, and water service connections. The ideal candidate has a strong background in sales, plumbing or excavation services, and excellent customer communication skills.

Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct on-site inspections for residential and commercial service calls to assess, diagnose and identify excavation-related plumbing issues
- Provide customers with detailed repair and replacement options, estimates, and project timelines
- Educate customers on the scope of work, processes, and benefits of proposed solutions
- Coordinate with plumbing and excavation crews to ensure customer satisfaction and timely project completion
- Follow up on leads, manage sales opportunities, and maintain a minimum established close rate
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, quotes, and customer interactions in CRM software
- Stay informed about local regulations, permitting, and utility requirements
- Represent the company professionally, ensuring a positive customer experience
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in plumbing, excavation, construction, or home services.
- Knowledge of sewer and water line systems and trench excavation processes is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of excavation practices and safety standards
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Excellent customer services skills
- Familiarity with scheduling or field service software (e.g., FieldEdge, ServiceTitan, or similar) preferred
