Technical Architect Specialist bei Global Data Consultants

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an Techincal Architect Specialist to work in a hybrid capacity, with 2 days on-site per month at the Department of Humans Services Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.  This position requires candidates to be located within commuting distance of Harrisburg and offers a collaborative environment focused on user-centered design, modern cloud technologies, and AI-driven development.

Position Description:

As an Techincal Architect Specialist you will be responsible for designing, building, and enhancing user interfaces that combine creativity, usability, and technical excellence. You will play a key role in creating innovative solutions that align business requirements, customer needs, and modern design principles, while leveraging AI tools, cloud technologies, and .NET programming to deliver scalable and effective applications.

• Apply user-centered design principles to create intuitive, visually appealing, and technically sound interfaces.

• Translate business problems and customer needs into creative UI/UX solutions.

• Collaborate with business users, project managers, and technical architects to design and deliver effective applications.

• Mentor and provide guidance to technical teams while performing supervisory functions when required.

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using .NET, C#, and Powershell scripting.

• Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Machine Learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agents to optimize development.

• Utilize cloud technologies including Azure, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Function Apps, and LaMDA for application delivery.

• Support installation of application releases into production and troubleshoot issues.

• Conduct database modeling and design for scalable application architectures.

• Provide technical expertise across diverse systems, ensuring seamless integration.

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and other design artifacts to communicate design concepts.

• Produce high-quality documentation and presentations of technical and design solutions.

• Identify, track, and resolve technical issues, risks, and action items in a timely manner.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards and ongoing process improvement

• 2+ years of proven experience with AI tools including GitHub Copilot, Machine Learning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agents.

• 2+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Function Apps, and LaMDA.

• 2+ years of hands-on .NET programming and C#.

• 2+ years of experience creating Powershell scripts.

• 2+ years of experience with database modeling and design.

• Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design principles, interaction design, and UI/UX best practices.

• Strong understanding of typography, color, layout, and usability.

• Experience collaborating within technical teams and delivering assigned tasks on time.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Playwright and MCP.

• Experience with cloud messaging platforms including Azure Events and Kafka.

• Familiarity with advanced debugging, configuration management, and design tools.

• Ability to make best-practice recommendations based on prior work.

• Experience with process improvement and adherence to quality standards.
