As the Program Manager, Retail Communications you will lead the design and implementation of clear, engaging internal communications across our global Retail stores. This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to remote candidates within Canada. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$82,000 - CAD$112,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.


If you were the Program Manager, Retail Communications now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Sourcing and strategically planning communications and associated resources against the Retail Calendar to ensure stores receive the right information at the right time
  • Developing impactful internal communications and resources for a global audience including (but not limited to) weekly publication, resources, videos, speaking notes, editorial stories and intranet posts
  • Facilitating cross-functional collaboration to ensure communication strategies are integrated with other business functions and initiatives
  • Partnering cross functionally to gain alignment and hold cross-functional teams accountable to meet milestones, specifically Product, (including Merchants, Allocations Teams, and Visual Merchandising teams), Brand Marketing, People & Culture, Finance, IT and Retail Training
  • Working with translation and localization services to ensure communications can be scaled and shared globally
  • Creating and executing project plans to drive internal engagement and deliver results for specific initiatives
  • Identifying and mitigating risk in projects and escalating issues where necessary
  • Supporting with the organization, management, and maintenance of key retail documents, files, and resources in our retail intranet
  • Supporting with our Store Matrix List, our Retail Intranet, and our Distribution lists
  • Championing our principles, practices, and procedures in Retail and maintain/uphold these consistently


  • Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • Creating and implementing resource style guides, inclusive of style, tone, and formatting
  • Managing and executing the strategy for multiple projects and initiatives with overlapping timelines as new priorities are added to the business objectives.
  • Developing new ways to manage the work across our teams, including new processes, practices and procedures


  • Are you our next Program Manager, Retail Communications?
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • You have 3+ years’ experience in a communication related role
  • You have 1+ years experience in a retail environment
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and illustrator (other tools may be an asset)
  • You have experience in developing, creating, reviewing and releasing communications to large, varying audiences
  • You have experience working with translation services, contractors or copywriters
  • You have experience working in a vertical retail business model
  • You have experience with intranet solutions and employee engagement tools
  • You have a background in design, photography, and creative graphic solutions
  • You have experience working with Smartsheet and/or other project management tools. 
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You demonstrate the ability to multi-task and work under pressure, operating under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and cross functional relationship management
  • You communicate with honesty and kindness, and you create space for others to do the same
  • You embrace feedback and direction from your peers, managers and leaders
