About the Role

Step into an exciting new opportunity as a Director of Engineering at Romac due to growth. In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of engineers and technicians while setting the strategic direction for multiple product lines. What You’ll Do

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for a team of 15 to 20 engineers and technicians
• Lead product development initiatives from concept through full scale production, ensuring compliance with cost, quality, and performance goals
• Apply technical expertise to integrate innovative features, resolve production challenges, and establish engineering standards
• Drive process refinement, cost reduction efforts, and ROI analysis for new tooling and equipment
• Collaborate across sales, operations, marketing, and quality to align product development with customer needs

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• 10 or more years of engineering experience, including 5 or more years in management
• Strong track record of solving problems and driving organizational improvements
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively across all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Office, comfortable with hand and power tools

Compensation Range $150,000 to $190,000
