Albany International Corp. is looking for a Director of FP&A. Reporting to the CFO, the Director, FP&A will lead the corporate FP&A function, playing a critical role in financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis at both the business segment and consolidated level. This role partners directly with segment leadership, providing actionable insights and financial narratives that inform strategic decisions. Candidates must be fluent in financial modeling and reporting, and comfortable working across multiple data sources—especially with SAP S/4HANA.

Responsibilities & Key Areas

  • Serve as the primary FP&A partner for one or more business segments, leading financial planning, forecasting, and monthly close analysis.
  • Consolidate and analyze data from SAP S/4HANA, BI platforms, Excel models, and other tools to create accurate and insightful financial reports.
  • Prepare and present segment and consolidated variance analysis, trend reports, and executive-level commentary on results.
  • Drive planning cycles (annual budget, quarterly forecasts) and challenge business assumptions with financial discipline.
  • Collaborate with accounting and corporate FP&A during close to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop dashboards and KPIs that align segment performance with company objectives.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis on business performance, pricing, cost drivers, and capital investments.
