The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) – Corporate & Compliance will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to corporate leadership teams, ensuring alignment of HR strategies with business objectives and compliance requirements. This role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution, focusing on employee relations, organizational development, compliance, performance management, and culture-building initiatives. The HRBP will act as a champion for people and organizational effectiveness, driving HR programs that support business growth, mitigate risk, and foster an inclusive, high-performance culture.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Strategic Partnership & Advisory
    • Partner with senior corporate leaders to design and deliver HR strategies that enable business goals, strengthen organizational capability, and mitigate compliance risks.
    • Serve as an HR consultant on complex employee relations, investigations, and compliance issues, ensuring legal alignment and proactive risk management.
    • Provide coaching and counsel to leaders on performance, talent development, change management, and workforce planning.
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, FMLA, ADA, OSHA, etc.) and company policies.
    • Maintain and update the Employee Handbook, HR policies, and compliance programs to reflect evolving regulations and business practices.
    • Lead corporate compliance initiatives, partnering with Legal and Compliance teams to audit processes, reduce risk, and drive accountability.
    • Responsible for managing the relocation program, processes, and vendor relationships.
  • Talent & Performance Management
    • Partner with the Manager, Talent development to drive the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews, and continuous feedback practices for assigned corporate departments.
    • Partner with leadership on succession planning and workforce strategies to ensure bench strength for critical corporate functions.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement
    • Serve as an advocate for employees while balancing business priorities, resolving complex employee relations issues with fairness and consistency.
    • Lead initiatives to strengthen corporate culture, employee engagement, and recognition programs.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions to minimize organizational risk.
    • Is an active member of the Great Places to Work committee.
  • Organizational Development & Change
    • Act as a change agent in corporate transformation and compliance initiatives, ensuring employees and leaders are equipped for success.
    • Support organizational design, restructuring, and process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.
    • Deliver training and workshops on compliance, performance management, leadership, and employee relations topics.
  • Data & Analytics
    • Analyze HR metrics and trends (turnover, engagement, compliance incidents, etc.) to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
    • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership on workforce trends and compliance health.

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 4-6 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years partnering with senior leadership in a corporate or compliance-focused HR role.
  • Proven expertise in compliance, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms (Oracle, Workday, UKG, or similar), Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to corporate goals
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Track record of managing compliance programs and HR audits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
