Now Hiring: CAE Technician
Shift/Schedule: Alternative Work Schedule 3rd shift 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Pay: Base + Shift Differential = $33.50/hour (+ based on experience)

What You’ll Do

  • Troubleshoot and repair automated systems, PLCs, and robotic devices
  • Support and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLC), VFDs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
  • Install, test, and calibrate instrumentation (level, temperature, flow)
  • Maintain and update electrical schematics and control documentation
  • Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, and other automation platforms
  • Fabricate, install, and test custom electrical panels and power distribution systems
  • Perform regular calibration and maintenance on instruments and equipment
  • Ensure proper operation of electrical and automation systems across the site
  • Document control logic, calibrations, testing results, and system changes
  • Maintain safe practices and comply with electrical safety standards
  • Assist with automation upgrades and continuous improvement projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in:
    • Electrical instrumentation and calibration
    • PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, GE Fanuc, etc.)
    • VFDs, motion control systems, and analog/digital circuitry
    • Electrical and control system documentation (reading and creating)
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data/charting tools
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment such as:
    • Digital multimeters (DVOM)
    • Calibration tools and hand tools
    • Conduit bending and fabrication tools
  • Strong math, electronics, and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Technical training or certifications in electronics, industrial automation, robotics, or power systems (preferred)
