SUMMARY: The Finished Goods Loader is responsible for loading and unloading finished products from the production lines onto vehicles, such as trucks and trailers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The role requires coordination with the production team, strict adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized loading area. This position plays a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the supply chain in a manufacturing environment.

  • Safely and efficiently load finished goods onto trucks and other vehicles for shipment, ensuring proper placement and securing loads.
  • Unload incoming finished goods or supplies from vehicles and move them to designated areas.
  • Verify finished goods against shipping orders to ensure accuracy and quality before loading.
  • Inspect products for visible damage or defects and report discrepancies to the supervisor.
  • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to move products safely.
  • Assist in tracking inventory levels of finished goods, ensuring accurate documentation in the system.
  • Drive trailers around the yard, back out, and pull trailers into milk bays.
  • Organize and store finished goods in the warehouse according to established procedures.
  • Ensure that products are stored safely and orderly to avoid damage.
  • Communicate with production to align daily loading schedules and priorities.
  • Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of finished goods.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and protocols while operating equipment and handling finished goods.
  • Perform routine inspections of loading equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the loading and shipping areas.
  • Regularly inspect and clean equipment used for loading and unloading.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment.
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
