QUALIFICATIONS:          

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and possess a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and civil/structural systems related to electrical generation. They must demonstrate a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and best practices, along with the ability to quickly learn and apply environmental and safety regulations, as well as accounting and purchasing procedures. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills are essential, as are effective time management abilities. A valid driver’s license is required, and candidates must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

SUMMARY ROLE DESCRIPTION:

This position provides engineering and technical support to Energy Supply operations for both existing and new utility generation facilities. Depending on experience, the role may range from entry-level to supervisory, with responsibilities including development, engineering, and construction support. The engineer will address issues of varying complexity—from basic to advanced—and escalate only the most complex matters as needed. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in engineering (typically Mechanical or Electrical) and 0–6 years of utility-specific experience. Strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills are valued, with opportunities to guide junior staff or lead project teams.
