The Role
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Senior Manager, IT & Compliance to lead the IT function at CompanyCam. You’ll be responsible for creating a secure, scalable, and employee-friendly technology environment while driving compliance readiness, including SOC2, and strengthening our overall security posture. Reporting to the VP of IT & Analytics, you’ll oversee Help Desk operations, infrastructure, and IT systems strategy—balancing long-term vision with a readiness to dive in when needed. Location: Candidates must permanently and currently reside in Lincoln, Nebraska or the surrounding metro area. This employee is will be expected to work in office as needed to ensure IT coverage.
What You'll Do
- Set the IT strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, ensuring secure and scalable systems.
- Lead the Help Desk function, ensuring fast, high-quality support and jumping in directly when needed.
- Establish standards and processes for IT support, onboarding, off-boarding, and daily employee IT experience.
- Oversee enterprise vendor relationships (Google Workspace, Okta, JAMF, CrowdStrike, and others) and evaluate new tools.
- Drive IT governance, compliance, and security strategy, including SOC2 readiness and incident response.
- Design and deliver security training to strengthen employee awareness and best practices.
- Build and develop a high-performing IT team, setting clear goals, accountability, and growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leaders to ensure IT investments and capabilities meet company needs.
- Manage IT budgets and vendor contracts, ensuring strong ROI and operational efficiency.

What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success leading IT operations or Help Desk teams, with a willingness to step in hands-on when needed.
- Expertise with Google Workspace, Okta, JAMF, CrowdStrike, networking, cloud environments, and API integrations.
- Proven experience implementing or maintaining SOC2, ISO 27001, or similar compliance frameworks.
- Experience with API integrations or system-to-system connections.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- A strategic mindset paired with operational excellence - you can plan for the long-term while executing today.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, preferred.
- Certifications in security (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) or cloud technologies, preferred.
- A continuous growth-mindset, with a focus on learning, embracing challenges, and continuously improving.
- A knack for creativity and innovation, bringing fresh ideas to the table and solving complex problems.
Benefits & Compensation
This is a salaried position at CompanyCam. Our salary range is $130,300-$167,500 per year and is based on experience. We also offer meaningful equity and other benefits.
