Position Summary:
The Lot & Personal Property Coordinator is responsible for removing, documenting, and storing all personal property from repossessed vehicles, as well as assisting with vehicle movement and organization on the auction lot. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced auction environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely remove all personal property from repossessed vehicles in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Accurately document and track personal property using log sheets, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
• Maintain secure and organized storage of personal property until released.
• Move vehicles throughout the auction lot as directed, including staging, parking, and sale-day positioning.
• Ensure vehicles are placed in correct locations and lot inventory is updated as needed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly, safe, and clean auction lot.
• Report any damages, safety concerns, or discrepancies in vehicles or personal property.
• Provide support to auction staff and management as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate vehicles safely, including cars, trucks, and SUVs (manual and automatic transmissions).
• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Work Environment:
• Primarily outdoors on auction lot; requires frequent walking, driving, and lifting.
• Exposure to various weather conditions.
• Interaction with auction staff, management, and occasionally customers.
