Full title: Assistant Coach Long Jump/Triple Jump, Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field
Working alongside the Director of Track and Field, coaching responsibilities include developing novice through advanced athletes in both long jump and triple jump. The selected coach will lead on-runway workouts and off-track conditioning and should have knowledge of multiple appropriate drills to teach and improve technique in the events. All coaches on staff also contribute to meet day operations.
During the winter indoor season, commitment is approximately 20 hours per week (Monday- Friday) starting December 3, 2026 through the end of February. There is no track and field programming from December 18 – January 4. Afternoon practices during season typically run from 3:15 – 5 p.m. as well as meets, typically on Wednesday afternoons as well as occasional Saturday meets during the winter season.
During the spring outdoor season, commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday- Saturday) starting March 23, 2026 through the third weekend in May. Afternoon practices during season typically run from 3:15 – 5 p.m. as well as meets, home and away, on most Saturdays during the spring term. No benefits.

The strongest applicants will have the following qualifications:
- Ability to positively motivate, inspire and be role model to high-school aged students.
- At least 2 years’ experience coaching in track and field club, high school or college setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Track and field experience at high school, college or higher level.
- Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff
- Ability and willingness to manage a Monday-Saturday practice/game schedule which includes travel to away opponents.
