Job Description

Our Logistics & Trade Compliance Analyst responsible for supporting the Logistics and Trade Compliance Managers to

ensure products arrive complete, on-time, and in a cost-effective manner.

Requirements

Job Duties

  •  Participate in developing and implementing the overall logistics and trade strategy.
  •  Work with the Logistics team to identify opportunities for cost savings and service improvement.
  • Execute daily activities for international logistics and trade compliance.
  • Conducts audits, record findings, and drive resolution of issues.
  • Solicit product information and certificates (e.g., country of origin, SDS, DOT/NHTSA) from vendors.
  • Determine product classifications (HTSUS/Schedule B/ECCN)
  • Maintain database(s) to provide information (e.g., HTS, PGA, CoO, MID) to Customs brokers.
  •  Create commercial documentation for international shipments.
  • Liaise with Logistics partners to resolve issues.
  • Maintain department recordkeeping protocols.
  •  Assist in providing logistics and trade compliance training/education to other departments within the company.
  •  Provide freight quotes to customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  •  Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to achieve success in situations with high degrees of variation and complexity.
  •  Strong attention to detail.
  • Adept in building relationships and collaborating cross-functionally.
  •  Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  •  Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products and Google applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.


Minimum Requirements

Education

  •  Associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field (preferred)


Experience 

  • 1+ years of experience in logistics or Trade Compliance (required)
  • Solid foundational knowledge of international logistics and trade compliance (preferred)
  •  Experience using NetSuite (preferred)
  •  Support working in an after-market automotive industry (preferred)

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able

to sit and stand for 8 or more hours at a time with occasional and repetitive lifting up to (50) pounds.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time, exempt position that primarily works Monday - Friday.
