Associate (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Austin, TX): Design Telecommunication services, Voice, Data and Video transport systems, Electronic Security systems, and Nurse Call Communication systems. Translate client and owner requirements into technical drawings, specifications, cost opinions, reports, and assessments. Develop and deliver client presentations of drawings, specifications, reports, and other deliverables. Keep abreast of operational, technical, or regulatory changes and improvements in the information transport industry relating to communication systems within government, commercial, and healthcare environments. Provide site inspection and implementation of technology communication systems. Manage workflow and provide quality control for direct reports.40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTM

Qualifications

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or a related field, and 6 years of related work experience. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience with the following: Analysis, design, installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunication systems; Revit or AutoCAD; Implementation of technology communication systems in education, government or healthcare facilities.

Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week. 

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 20%. 

Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
