DevOps Administrator bei McLeod Software

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Administrator to join our IT Operations team. This role is responsible for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, automation pipelines, and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Azure, PowerShell, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code tools, and will play a key role in supporting enterprise applications and ensuring operational efficiency.

What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities): 

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure) including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
• Automate deployment and provisioning using PowerShell, Terraform, and ARM/Bicep templates.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to streamline workflows and improve deployment reliability.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
• Ensure security best practices are followed across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Support disaster recovery planning and execution.

What You'll Need (Requirements):

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in DevOps, cloud administration, or other related field
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to leadership teams.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Azure services and automation tools.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Compose) and microservices deployment.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Python scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Experience with GCP or AWS, preferred.
• Experience working with monitoring tools and logging frameworks, preferred.
• Experience working with enterprise application support and migration projects, preferred.
