Job Definition:

The Junior Systems Integration Analyst will ensure the effective implementation and support of system-to-system connections between BDIs business systems and our customers and vendors. This role combines technical integration work with an understanding of business processes in sales, purchasing, and finance. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the design and support of integrations between systems using EDI, cXML, and API technologies.
• Work within BDIs SAP ERP system to set up, test, troubleshoot, and implement the automation/integration of various business documents.
• Partner with other BDI departments to understand requirements for sales, purchasing, and financial workflows.
• Participate in cross-functional projects, gaining exposure to both technical and business sides of the organization.
• Contribute ideas and learn best practices for continuous improvement of system integrations.
• Other duties as they are assigned.
   

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• Minimum of one year technical/IT related work experience (internships, co-ops, or entry-level IT/technical roles acceptable).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge of system integration technologies (such as EDI, APIs, cXML, JSON, or middleware) is a plus.
• Exposure to or interest in ERP systems. 

• SAP experience is a big plus.
