What You’ll Do
This position will perform routine court maintenance duties and manual labor including the care of the grounds, tennis courts, and facilities to ensure that all guests receive the proper Audubon Experience during each visit.
Day to Day Responsibilities
· Reports all maintenance and service needs to the Head Tennis Professional in a timely manner to ensure safe operations
· Follows the informal and formal departmental standards, policies and procedures, and goals to promote service excellence
· Maintains a clean and safe work environment
· Responsible for maintaining clay court surfaces
· Responsible for cleaning the restrooms and picking up litter in the court areas
· Empties trash cans in buildings, restrooms, and walkways
· Performs duties effectively without constant supervision
· Performs various other job duties as needed and directed by the Head Tennis Professional

What We’re Looking For
Must Haves:
· Experience with manual labor specifically working outdoors
· Valid driver’s license
· High school diploma
Nice-to-Haves: (preferred for the role)
· Experience working on clay courts
· Experience playing tennis
· Knowledge of operating clay court irrigation system
Physical Requirements:
· Heavy Work: exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, or a necessary amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Involves walking or standing for extended periods of time.
· Sitting or standing, bending, stooping, and the ability to carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.
· Constant adequate range of motion and mobility required.
· Regular near acuity with clarity of vision at 20 inches or less required.
· Typical ability to collect and analyze numerical and written data and verbal information to reach logical conclusions and ability to determine the time, place and sequence of operations or actions required.
· Regular talking and the ability to express and exchange ideas by means of language expected.
· Regular hearing and the ability to perceive the nature of sounds.
· Constant ability to read, record, or type data quickly and accurately required.
