About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Derivatives Accounting Analyst to join our growing team. This dynamic role supports both the onboarding and ongoing servicing of clients in our derivatives program, while also contributing to process automation, reporting enhancements, and internal operations.

Derivatives Operations & Client Servicing
- Manage monthly deliverables: generate, audit, and upload accounting reports while ensuring data accuracy and quality control.
- Review and validate client reports, resolving any discrepancies with team members.
- Manage client inquiries, escalating as needed to ensure timely resolution within department SLAs.
- Interact with sales and client services teams to address data and reporting questions.
- Liaise with swap dealer counterparties and clients to onboard new clients for derivatives execution, including managing introductions and paperwork.
- Serve as a service resource for prospects and clients throughout onboarding and ongoing servicing.
- Manage contract creation and user access to client reporting portals.
Process Improvement & Technology Integration
- Support automation and reporting projects in collaboration with the Derivatives Accounting and Analytics teams.
- Prototype new reports and liaise with the Technology team to support development efforts.
- Assist in building out quality control and reconciliation checks to strengthen reporting accuracy.
- Work with internal teams to integrate data across groups and platforms.
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, STEM, or related field
- Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- High emotional intelligence and professional demeanor; able to build trust and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with VBA, SQL, or Bloomberg (MARS, HEFF, SWPM) is a plus
- Familiarity with derivatives or derivatives accounting standards is a plus
- Strong aptitude for learning technical software solutions
- Demonstrated experience in data and process management
- Required to complete registration as an Associated Person with the NFA within 120 days of hire date

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. This is an estimated range based on the circumstances at the time of posting, however, may change based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, market factors, geographical location, budget, and demand. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
